ALUMNI SINGERS
“I met and attended the courses held by Spazio Musica for the first time in 2000. Spazio Musica was the beginning of my training as an artist, I was little more than a young girl and the meeting with Mrs. Gabriella Ravazzi was a revelation for my entire career. I attended the workshops for 6 years in a row, debuting in various roles. The teachings learned with Spazio Musica were invaluable for learning all the work that goes on behind the scenes before becoming a real artist. I tried my hand on the stage and learned all the tricks of the trade that Mrs. Ravazzi passed down to me over many years of working together. During the workshops, every aspect of the Opera that is to be performed is meticulously analyzed, going through the in-depth study of the score, the study of the stage movements and last but not least the psychology of the character. In the end, you are able to debut an Opera on one of the most precious and beautiful stages in Italy with a real orchestra. The work designed for young people by Spazio musica is very precious and I hope it can help develop many other brilliant lyric and conducting careers. A heartfelt thanks to my dear Maestro Gabriella Ravazzi, who has been following me for more than 20 years in my studies and in my career, for everything she has transmitted to me and that she will still teach me.”

"I started with Spazio Musica in 2014 and I want to say that thanks to Spazio Musica I found the right way to learn vocal technique and repertoire but above all the art of singing and the true Italian school of opera singing. I debuted during eight years in many roles with great names such as Maestro Maurizio Arena and Maestro Vittorio Parisi, Stefano Ranzani but above all the soprano Gabriella Ravazzi who gave me so much and who taught me so much and that there is a mountain of work behind a singer to reach a certain level and not just the voice, thanks to that I began my career singing in many important theaters such as Brescia, Genoa, Catania, Caligari... Deutsch Oper Berlin and many others."

"I hold the Spazio Musica competition in my heart because it truly gave a boost to my initial path. It gave me the opportunity to be heard by prestigious theaters, such as the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the Teatro Regio in Turin and in the latter to be able to debut within a very short time in a wonderful production of the opera “The Cunning Little Vixen” directed by Robert Carsen. It was the beginning of my path."
CARLOTTA VICHI
"My experience with SpazioMusica productions in Orvieto began with the Competition for the roles of Verdi's "Ballo in maschera", in which I won the debut in the main role of Renato in the 2018 edition. Aside from the joy of having won this important debut in one of the most iconic roles of Verdi's baritone vocals, the experience of singing for the subsequent Competition for Orchestra Conductors allowed me to musically deepen the writing of the role, participating in the precious advice of Maestro Maurizio Arena given to us singers and aspiring conductors.
The intense work of planning and rehearsing the staging then contributed to giving me full vocal and dramaturgical awareness of this incredible Verdi masterpiece, thanks to the technical and interpretative advice of Maestro Gabriella Ravazzi, and to her fervent directorial imagination and stage experience.
The opera workshop and the 3 final performances were among the happiest moments of my apprenticeship as an artist, founded in an atmosphere of professional seriousness, and of comparison with colleagues and teachers, including Maestro Vittorio Parisi, who gave us some real "pearls" of understanding the management of singing in the relationship between the stage and the orchestra pit.
I therefore feel like advising all singers who want to build or take their artistic personality to higher levels to have this same experience, at least once in their journey to debut."

“I am very happy to have found the information on the internet about masterclasses and workshops in Orvieto back in 2016, and since then I have been grateful to be part of the great artistic family of Spazio Musica.
Thanks to the Spazio Musica laboratories I had the honor of studying the school of bel canto and style under the guidance of the great Masters: Maurizio Arena, Vittorio Parisi, Giovanni Andreoli and above all Gabriella Ravazzi, with whom I have been studying opera singing since 2016. Thanks to Maestro Ravazzi my vocal technique made a leap in quality. When I returned after the first summer of studies in Orvieto, everyone at the Conservatory where I studied noticed the completely different level of my vocal technique.
For every singer at the beginning of their career, stage practice is fundamental for professional development. Thanks to the workshops in Orvieto I had the opportunity to debut in the roles of Amina (La Sonnambula), Gilda (Rigoletto), Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), Nannetta (Falstaff), Despina (Così fan tutte).
Now I am a soloist of the Musical Theatre of the Republic of Karelia, in one year I made debuts in 15 roles, I believe that without the unforgettable experience and training at Spazio Musica all this would not have been possible.”

"For me, Spazio Musica is a unique laboratory for the voice. At Spazio Musica you constantly learn, not only technique and interpretation, but also patience, humanity, humility and teamwork. The first time I participated in the opera laboratory, I went to listen to the finals of the Spazio Musica international competition. I asked myself - but how can you get to these levels? A few years later, thanks to a lot of work with Spazio Musica and with a lot of patience, I participated in the competition and won the first prize, the audience prize, and four other special audition prizes, which opened many doors for me. Thanks to these experiences I had the pleasure of singing leading roles in theaters such as the Volksoper Wien, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, The Israeli Opera, Teatro Massimo in Palermo and others. At Spazio Musica I learned that you never stop learning and improving. I am very happy to be part of the many generations of musicians who have come very far thanks to the trust, encouragement and enormous work that Spazio Musica does for young people. Investing in young people is risky - you don't know how they will develop or in which direction they will go, and so I really appreciate the dedication and courage to create such unique and valuable opportunities for us young people."

"My love for Spazio Music began in 2014. That year I had the opportunity to receive some advice from Teresa Berganza and one of these was to go to Italy to the Accademia Spazio Musica and begin training under the guidance of soprano Gabriella Ravazzi. It was an excellent and unforgettable start.
The atmosphere at Spazio Musica is filled with absolute and undisputed love for music and deep respect for the traditions of Italian opera that wins over the participants.
I won the Spazio Musica singing competition and immediately debuted the role of Fiordiligi. Then I participated in various workshops debuting other roles and this experience also gave me the opportunity to work in important theaters. "
